Pumpkins 2011

We barely squeezed in a trip to the Pumpkin Patch before October 31st this year. Seems our crazy schedule finally caught up with us! The dwindling selection made for an easy pick, but less than stellar photo options (and you know the main reason we go to the pumpkin patch is NOT to pick out a pumpkin, but to take pictures...). I also skipped out on the custom outfits this year, although our Tiny Lady benefited from her crafty daycare teachers. In the end I think we left in record time - under 15 minutes (still long enough to tire out The Girl, who had boycotted her nap earlier in the day...at least she could grab a quick snooze on the way home). Back at the house the kiddos picked out the face they wanted to carve (and demonstrated a few other wide-open-mouth options), then it was time to dig into the slime. Our Baby Girl was at first less than thrilled about the cold, wet pumpkin innards...but eventually followed Big Brother's lead.
